In this episode, we race through a ton of amazing topics with author Johnny Compton whose debut novel The Spite House comes out on February 7th, 2023. We talked about fears, writing, his journey to getting published, being quiet on social media and still finding success, where the idea of his debut came from, how BIPOC voices in literature are raising the bar for storytelling, and, of course, spite. It's a chockfull show, but Johnny's calm kept the broadcast from running amok (or at least kept Peter from doing so) and we are just so very grateful for having had him on the show!
